A Tribute to the 40's, 50's and 60's has audiences "dancin' in the aisles and singin' along" to all the classics they know and love from artists like Buddy Holly, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Roy Orbison, Doris Day, The Platters and many more. The eight-piece band is orchestrated by musical director Roy Sydiaha and fronted by the Irish-born Stephen Maguire.

The Vienna Boys Choir is comprised of around 100 choristers between the ages of ten and fourteen, divided into four touring choirs. The choir’s repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary and experimental music. Motets and lieder for boys’ choir form the core of the touring repertoire, as do the choir’s own arrangements of quintessentially Viennese music, waltzes and polkas by Lehar, Lanner, and Strauss.

Singer-songwriter-pianist Jeffery Straker performs over 100 shows per year across Canada, ranging from intimate house concerts to sold-out shows with full symphony orchestras. Straker combined forces with the Regina Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players to create a spectacular evening of original music.

This ballet by Bengt Jorgen is an innovative take on the classic fairy tale. Jorgen's choreography balances the fairy tale elements of the story with a contemporary treatment of Cinderella and her family relationships. Returning to the original Russian tradition of having women perform the roles of the stepsisters, Jorgen builds a more realistic and human look at Cinderella and her circumstances, and then uses these scenes to both counterpoint and highlight the magical aspects of the story. Ballet Jorgen Canada's Cinderella is a classical ballet with modern, dramatic sensibilities.

Calgary-based husband and wife duo, Denis & Lynae Dufresne formed PEAR in 2006 after headlining international fiddle sensation Barrage. PEAR crosses modern country with folk sensibilities. The group has won 3 CCMA Awards and was named the 2013 Group of the Year from the Association of Country Music in Alberta. Their hit single “This Ain’t a Love Song” is an inspiring song that recently won the Country category in the International Songwriting Competition, and has aired on CMT Canada. PEAR released a fresh new album in spring 2015.

Under the artistic direction of Matthias Maute and Sophie Larivière, Ensemble Caprice is renowned for its innovative interpretations of baroque music and has received national and international acclaim for more than twenty years. Their CD, Gloria! Vivaldi’s Angels won Canada’s prestigious 2009 JUNO Award. It is Salsa Baroque (Analekta, 2010), which is the program they will be bringing to your communities in the 2014/15 season. Salsa Baroque is the music of Latin America and Spain in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Gems from this spectacular musical era will be performed on instruments that were common at the time: flutes and recorders, baroque guitar, violoncello and various percussion instruments.
